Who are we?

We are five people with a passion for renewable energy. We bring to Point Reyes a decade of working together at The AES Corporation. After AES, we each led our own solar, wind, and geothermal companies. We have come back together to help meet the unstoppable demand for renewables.

Sarah Slusser, Founder and Managing Director

Sarah is an expert in power markets, with 30 years of development, finance and operations experience. She is an accomplished investor and corporate officer of both public and private companies, having led investments comprising more than $3 billion across the electric sector. During her 21-year tenure at The AES Corporation, she rose to be a senior officer and built and ran the Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean division of the company. Sarah co-founded GeoGlobal Energy LLC, a geothermal development and operating company in the US, Chile, and Germany, which was sold to its cornerstone investor. Sarah graduated from Harvard University with Honors in Geology and received an MBA from Yale School of Management.

Kim Oster, Founder and Managing Director

Kim has over 30 years of development and finance experience and has successfully closed over $4.5 billion of power projects across the electric sector. Previously, Kim was with First Solar, where she led the development of a 550MW solar farm in California and then rose to start and lead the Latin America business region. Prior to First Solar, Kim was with the AES Corporation for over 12 years where she successfully led the development and financing of over 600MW of power projects. Kim graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics, Yale School of Management with an MBA, and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies with an MES.

Rebecca Cranna, Founder and Managing Director

Becky’s 26 years of energy experience spans multiple continents, with executive roles in finance, operations, and risk management. She was the CFO for TerraForm Power and TerraForm Global, both Nasdaq listed renewable companies totaling $6.5 billion of enterprise value. Previously, Becky led Asset and Risk Management for TerraForm Power with operations responsibility for TerraForm Power’s 2,972MW fleet of solar and wind plants. Becky was also CFO of Silver Ridge Power, growing this start-up to a portfolio of 52 solar plants totaling 522MW in 7 countries, and had both operations and finance responsibilities. Becky was at the AES Corporation for 17 years, including as the VP responsible for the credit review function, and other roles in greenfield development and M&A. Becky graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology with honors.

Patty Rollin, Development Advisor

Patty has 35 years of development and finance experience and has closed over $2.5 billion of power projects across the electric sector. She was founder and Managing Director of Wye Holdings, focused on distributed generation in emerging markets. She served as Vice President at American Capital Energy and Infrastructure, originating and managing global investments. She also served as Vice President, Development and Project Finance at Silver Ridge Power, leading the contracting of 900MW of solar projects, of which 500MW were financed and constructed. She worked at The AES Corporation for 20 years, in roles including investor relations, global project development and project finance. Patty graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in Economics and English Literature and Stanford University with an MS in Engineering Economic Systems.

Neil Watlington, Development Advisor

Neil has 27 years of experience in the energy and industrial sectors. Most recently he was Executive Director at NextEra Energy responsible for multiple renewable and energy storage projects in Canada and New England. Prior to joining NextEra, Neil served as Vice President, AES Puerto Rico, where he spearheaded local development of innovative traditional and renewable independent power projects and supported development and acquisition efforts in Central America and the Caribbean. He also served as Director of U.S. Operations for the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, and was twice appointed by the Governor as citizen representative for electric sector reform in Puerto Rico. Neil graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Economics and the University of Puerto Rico School of Law with a JD and received a fellowship for Entrepreneurial Studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
